DM SUP Surf & Beach Race 2017

Welcome to the National Danish Championship in SUP Surf & SUP Beach Race 2017. This year we’ll be back in Cold Hawaii, the North West of Jutland. The location offers the best conditions with over 30 surf spots -from Agger in South of Thy to Vigsø in the North.

• SUP Surf Competition
• SUP Beach Race – with Super Lap

RACE FORMAT

You can compete in two disciplines (Remember to sign up for each competition):

• SUP Surf Competition (Open Men, Open Women, Open Junior, Open Masters)
• SUP Beach Race – Super Lap: (Open Men, Open Women, Open Junior, Open Masters)

ACCOMMODATION AND FOOD

Info will come later, but accommodation is not included in the race fee. We are working on some good deals for your stay in Klitmøller, but you’re also welcome to find your accommodation yourself. .

EQUIPMENT

SUP Race boards length should be maximum 14′ . Individual equipment goes as; SUP Board, paddle, leash and suitable paddle clothing’s depending on weather conditions (expected air temperature is 15-20 degrees C).

SAFETY

Safety during competitions will be arranged by the race organizers. Instructions will be given during the safety briefing before race start.

All competitors must wear a leash.

By signing up you agree to the following terms and conditions for participation in the National Danish Championship SUP Waves Open 2016:

All competitors participating in the competitions during the event have to possess valid third party liability insurance.

To do my best and help any person or ship in danger.To recognize that the decision to participate or to stay in the competition is my own responsibility. To wear the identification number given by the organization. Winners of the competitions are obligated to attend the prize ceremony.

Competitors take part in all competition, at their own risk. The organizer or any of their officials or representatives or any sponsors or their officials or representatives are not responsible, under any circumstances, for any damage, loss or injury either ashore or on the water either to persons or equipment.
Participation in this event, supporting events and in each competition in them is at the sole discretion of the surfer and at his/her own risk.
In registering for the event, competitors automatically grant to the Organizing Authority the right in perpetuity to make, use and show from time to time at their discretion, any motion pictures, still pictures and live, taped or filmed television and other reproduction of them, taken during the period of the event.
